Terms and Conditions
Enrolments: Your place can only be secured with full payment and will be given on a first come first served basis. No Refunds will be given once the term commences. Should your class be cancelled by us due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be credited a lesson for the following term.
Swimwear: Trunks/swim shorts or swimsuit. All long hair to be tied back. Goggles (optional).
Photography: You may take pictures of your child with the permission of other parents and your teacher, and by completing the photography log book.
Illness: Please do not bring your child to lessons if they have had anything contagious within the last 48 hours ie sickness, diarrhoea, conjunctivitis. Please ask if you are unsure.
Poolside: All outdoor footwear to be removed. No food or drink. Please do not let your child enter the pool until the teacher is ready for the lesson to commence. All parents/guardians must remain on the poolside for the duration of your child’s lesson and be prompt to assist the teacher in getting them out of the pool on time, if necessary. If one child requires individual attention in the pool, we may ask the other child in the lesson to rest on the poolside next to their parent/ guardian for a moment particularly if they are a non or weak swimmer.
Behaviour: We take safety very seriously and would ask that there is no diving, running, bombing or bad behaviour in or around the poolside which can be slippery when wet. We emphasise that parents/guardians are fully responsible for their children at all times. No swimmer should enter the Pool Area without a member of Swim Fusion staff being present.
Emergencies: Should there be any incidents such as where a child requires urgent assistance during their lesson, our Swimming Teachers will respond accordingly. This may require a Teacher to return a child to their parent/guardian immediately in order for them to initiate our emergency action plan. This is also why it is important that parents/guardians remain on the poolside during their child’s lesson. To help deal with an emergency, we have a splash proof phone on poolside which requires dialling a ‘9’ to get an outside line. Important phone numbers and the address of the pool is shown on page 2 of the blue ‘Swim Fusion’ folder on poolside.
Cancellations: Pool closures and cancelled lessons are rare and you will be informed by email and text should there be disruption to your lesson. We offer a one lesson credit for the following term should we cancel your lesson due to pool problems.
Lost Property: Lost property will be posted on our Facebook page (Swim Fusion Swim School and Lifesaving Training) and will be kept for one month.
